PhonePhone was launched on June 1996, leading the world’s first commercially deployed interactive multimedia payphone system.  Telephone calls made on PowerPhone totalled 20 million in its first 3 years of operations.  At its peak, the number of PowerPhones in service worldwide reached over 1,000+, the world’s most extensively deployed premium payphone of its kind.  The top 5 PowerPhone Applications were Telephony, e-Mail, Fax, All-in-One Payment and Internet access.
